We are looking for the right people to join our well-funded, growing open-source startup and to help us bring end-to-end data science solutions to practitioners and enterprises. Right now, we are looking for a UX Designer for Website to join our Product team in Konstanz or Berlin* (on-site or hybrid).

Who are you?

  • You’re always thinking about design from the UX experience – where did the user come from and where are we trying to point her next.
  • You have several years (5+) of experience owning UX for a website or B2B software product. B2C experience is also a plus.
  • Our website is based on Drupal – so you know this system inside and out.
  • You’re experienced in the key programming languages (HTML, CSS, …). You understand website design and UX best practices and will ensure we stick to them!
  • You have clear design taste and are able to spot when something is off with spacing, alignment, colors, etc.
  • You have an eye for detail, balancing high-quality work with timeliness.
  • You’re open to taking on new tasks and challenges as they arise (which often happens in our small, growing team).
  • You have a genuine interest (and preferably experience) in the software, tech, and start-up space in which we operate.
  • You’re fluent in English. This is the language we communicate to our users in, as well as internally with each other.

What’s the job?

We are looking for an experienced UX Designer, who has significantly impacted unique visual identity for B2B software products. Day-to-day, you can expect to:

  • Own the website as a product, and help us improve the UX over time
  • Ensure consistent experience between the website and the software products
  • Implement necessary tools, including heatmaps and surveys, to ensure we are optimizing for the best possible user journey across marketing touchpoints (website, event landing pages, third party sites, etc)
  • Manage the junior designer and third-party vendors to make sure all website needs are met
  • Work closely with both, the Marketing (Product Marketer, Technical Project Manager, and Graphic Designer) and the Product team (UX Team & Product Owners)
