Skills & Experience

• Have worked 1+ years full-time as a software engineer.
• Have modern web tech experience: Deep understanding of web technologies, the DOM & its modern APIs and frameworks.
• Have web interactive UI experience: Built highly interactive, responsive & performant user interfaces on the web (eg: drag/drop, responsive mouse tracking, draw etc).
• Can work autonomously: Break down problems & figure out solutions on your own, help the team to do the same & learn something you don’t have experience in.
• Are language or stack agnostic: Enjoy being a generalist and are not tied down to a specific programming language or a stack. (We currently use typescript for most things)

Some examples of projects you could work on

• Extend the capabilities of the SDK by bringing cutting edge collaboration experiences to the platform. (eg: audio huddles, live reactions, contextual comments etc)
• Design & build OTs and CRDTs or a blend of the two as a service.
• Design & build simple web based audio & video calling, recording & streaming capabilities.
• Design APIs such that it reduces developer’s implementation time to as few minutes as possible.
• Explore novel ways to make the features robust against variability in browsers, screen sizes, app’s content changes, frontend frameworks etc.
