Anakin is building a fully automated pricing engine for large eCommerce companies such as Flipkart, Walmart, and Uber. We do that by collecting data and generating actionable insights. Our pricing engine automatically changes the prices of hundreds of millions of products across 15+ countries in real-time.

In this generalist role at Anakin, you will be given the opportunity to work with the Head of Strategy and CEOs of large eCommerce companies and build a pricing solution product that will be responsible for managing the prices of billions of items worth tens of billions of dollars.

Responsibilities:

  • Design products ranging from our pricing platform to internal matching tools, to experimental tools powered by the latest deep learning technologies
  • Coordinate with strategy head and CEOs of $B companies to understand product requirements
  • Help set product strategy and coordinate between founders and engineers to deliver for our customers and internal users. Be the bridge between departments to communicate, guide, and manage priorities, timelines, and resources necessary for product success
  • Create beautiful, simple user experiences to power user adoption and internal efficiencies that think past the in-product experience to shape the entire user lifecycle
  • Have a deep understanding of the tasks customers and users need to complete. Use that knowledge to write clear and concise specifications and deliver products that help them accomplish those tasks.
  • Design customer studies to test and validate new product features. Pull data, analyze, and make decisions to drive key success metrics

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in technical product management
  • Domain expertise in infrastructure, automation, or operations-heavy products is a plus
  • The ability to prioritize
  • Presented with meaningful imperatives and a mountain of data, you can identify and organize clear, concise actions
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
  • Previous experience in a startup is a plus
  • Design experience is a plus

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be available to work extended hours and weekends when needed to meet critical deadlines
  • Must have an aversion to politics and BS. Should let his/her work speak for him/her.
  • Must be comfortable with uncertainty. In almost all the cases, your job will be to figure it out.
  • Must not be bounded to comfort zone. Often, you will need to challenge yourself to go above and beyond.
