About the Role

As the HR Business Partner reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will have the exciting and unique opportunity to directly impact the future and success of Routable. This role will be instrumental in building start-up infrastructure, shaping company culture, and guiding Routable through our next phase of explosive growth.

As a trusted partner to employees and leadership across the organization, you will have the amazing opportunity to directly influence all aspects of the employee experience at Routable. You will partner with the Director of Human Resources to drive impact in areas such as culture, L&OD, employee performance, benefits, onboarding, compliance, and compensation. You will be most successful in this role if you care deeply both about our business and our employees and are excited about doing everything you can to make our team thrive.

Routable is a remote-first, fast-paced, technical, and results driven organization that is scaling quickly. You will need to be able to stay one step ahead of our growth and be able to build, support, and help enhance our organization as we scale.

Responsibilities

• Build, streamline, and refine HR processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support employee development by identifying training/coaching needs for business units and individuals.
• Evaluate and monitor training programs to ensure success. Follow up to ensure training objectives are met.
• Contribute to building training programs as needed .
• Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to leadership (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions). Administer performance review cycles.
• Administer compensation plans, education sessions, and cycles. Partner with external vendors on market surveys.
• Provide in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation. Maintain and refine employee handbook, as well as internal documentation and SOPs.
• Iterate on existing onboarding process, refining it into the best possible experience for Routable new hires.
• Work closely with management and employees to build on our positive culture and engagement. Support work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. Design, run, and act upon results of employee engagement surveys.
• Help with critical initiatives such as DE&I, employer branding, remote culture, and team bonding.
• Administer and educate employees on company benefit plans. Help facilitate open enrollment sessions.
• Manage and resolve employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
• Provide guidance and input on business unit structure and growth, workforce planning, and succession planning.
• Partner with recruiting, finance, IT, marketing, and other departments as needed for various initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

• You have over 3 years of experience as an HRBP or HR Generalist in a fast growing company, having touched on the specific areas of expertise described in the Responsibilities section above. You enjoy the opportunity and challenge of building processes and providing structure in a rapidly changing environment.

• You make data-driven decisions. You monitor and track the results of your initiatives to inform your priorities and set expectations with the business and/or employees.
• You are resourceful. You are willing to research questions, processes, and best practices to find answers that best fit Routable culture and needs.
• Bonus points if you have experience with building a strong culture in a fully remote setting!

You must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

To help foster amazing relationships with our coworkers, we meet up twice a year as a whole team in some pretty awesome cities! In the past we’ve met up in San Diego, Seattle, and Austin. We’d rather invest money into memorable team events rather than expensive offices. During our meet-up team time, we love to spend time learning a new skill together, and solving problems. Most recently this has taken on the form of a bread-making class and defeating an Escape Room.
