About the role
As an Art Director at LetterShop, you will be responsible for building creative assets from conceptualization to completion. Agency experience and the understanding of 360° campaigns is a bonus. We are a small and tight team so the right candidate will be proficient across multiple mediums. The right candidate will posses an expert-level understanding of how to implement existing brand standards. Our ideal candidate will be kind first. They will look forward to collaborating with a talented teams of peers.

We have a beautiful office in Dobbs Ferry, NY. It is a quick walk from the train station. Dobbs Ferry is on the Hudson line, about 40 minutes from Grand Central. Our industrial space has high ceilings and a view of the Hudson River. We are open to a part remote/part on-site scenario. For the perfect candidate, we will consider an all-remote arrangement.

Responsibilities include:
• Working alongside other designers, creative directors, writers and marketers to realize the goals of any given project
• Fostering strong relationships with clients, consultants and staff
• Managing projects and clients independently
• Maintaining a schedule so projects are delivered on time
• Communicating clearly and effectively with clients and co-workers
• Monitoring and leading fellow designers and interns
• Leading brainstorming sessions to drive the development innovative creative ideas

What we are seeking:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in graphic design
• 5+ years industry experience in branding and design
• A vibrant portfolio with examples of brand storytelling and cross-channel marketing campaigns
• Experience working across multiple digital media channels with an eye towards a thorough and consistent brand design story for each campaign
• Strong conceptual skills and ability to convey ideas clearly to others
• A passion for typography and type systems
• Ability to juggle multiple projects while meeting deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Social media knowledge is a bonus as is UX and UI skills
